Investment and value
Professional support is an investment in your career or business success. Our clients typically report improved productivity, reduced stress, better work-life balance, and increased revenue or career progression. The support often pays for itself through enhanced performance and opportunities you can now pursue.
Tailored to your neurodivergent profile
We understand that neurodivergence isn’t one-size-fits-all. Someone with ADHD might need help with time management, task initiation, and maintaining systems. An autistic professional might benefit most from support with communication filtering, social scheduling, and managing sensory demands. A person with dyslexia might need document production and proofreading support. Someone with dyspraxia might need organisational systems and practical task management.
Whilst we have particular expertise in ADHD support, having pioneered this service for adults with ADHD, we work with neurodivergent professionals across the spectrum. We match clients with support workers who understand their specific challenges to provide the precise assistance needed.
Why RPC support workers are different
Not all support is equal. Many neurodivergent professionals have tried working with general virtual assistants or administrative support and found it frustrating when the person doesn’t understand why certain tasks are difficult or how to adapt their approach. RPC is different:
1. Neurodivergent insight and experience
We specifically recruit support workers who have insight into and experience of supporting neurodivergent people. Many of our support workers are neurodivergent themselves, have family members with ND conditions, or have previous experience in disability support, education, or therapeutic settings. They understand that “just make a to-do list” isn’t helpful advice for someone with ADHD, or that an autistic professional might need very specific communication protocols.
2. Specialist training programme
Every RPC support worker completes our specialist training programme covering:
- Understanding ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other neurodivergent conditions
- Supporting executive function challenges
- Communication strategies for neurodivergent clients
- Creating and maintaining systems that actually work for ND brains
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults
- GDPR and data protection compliance
- Professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Working within the Access to Work framework
This training continues throughout their work with us, ensuring they stay current with best practices.
3. Professional vetting and insurance
Every support worker undergoes:
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks
- Professional Liability Insurance coverage
- Reference checks and employment verification
- Ongoing supervision and quality assurance from RPC
You’re not hiring an uninsured freelancer from a gig economy platform. You’re working with a fully vetted, trained, and insured professional who’s accountable to our organisation.
The RPC difference: Professional, neurodivergent-aware support
When you work with RPC, you’re not just getting an extra pair of hands. You get a support worker with an understanding of how you think, who has been trained in strategies that actually help, and operates within a professional framework that protects both of you.
Access to Work as an offset
Access to Work (AtW) can provide substantial funding to offset the cost of disability-related workplace support for any disabling condition including neurodivergent concitions such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and Tourette’s syndrome.
However, applications currently take up to 30 weeks to process, and approval is not guaranteed. We will apply for AtW on your behalf and handle all administration, but we structure our service so you can access the support you need immediately, with AtW funding helping to offset costs once approved rather than being a prerequisite.
